Player 1 Press Start: Professor Shyguy –“Science, Life, & ABCs”

Nashville-based “chip-pop” artist Professor Shyguy (real name Brandt Cooley) has just completed work on his second album titled Rated Heart. Having dubbed himself the “poor nerd’s Justin Timberlake,” Cooley croons over R&B/Pop-themed electronic melodies and beats, which cover a myriad of geek-related topics including videogames, Dr. Who and even the popular web series The Guild.

Rated Heart touts some impressive guest stars like Dragon Ball Z narrator Kyle Hebert and Descendants of Erdrick‘s Amanda Lepre. Cooley has taken to crowdfunding giant Kickstarter to obtain funding for a physical release for Rated Heart, plus a music video for the track “RPG Song.” You can watch the lyric video for another new track titled “Science, Life, & ABCs,” a pretty slick song  in which each of the lyrics are in alphabetical order.
